Abstract	S-7 Committee Activities Dick Newman, S-7 Chair Briefing to AC&GSC Reno, Nevada 6 March 2013 The SAE S-7 Committee charter addresses aviation issues from the line pilots' perspective. Membership is drawn from airlines, manufacturers, regulators and researchers. Typical issues deal with cockpit arrangements and handling qualities. Most of our results are published as Aerospace Recommended Practices (ARP’s) with some Aerospace Information Reports (AIR’s). Many of these documents form the basis for advisory circulars. Current projects of interest to ACGSC include Display Latency, Loss-of-Control, FBW Handling Qualities, Warning/Caution/Advisories, FBW Architecture and Redundancy Management.
