AbstractScientific Systems has developed several transition-ready technologies in the areas of unmanned systems (UAVs, UUVs, and USVs) autonomy, network-centric warfare and sensor-to-shooter image exploitation chain. The technologies are being transitioned to Navair’s Tomahawk POR for Autorouting and Vision-based Navigation in GPS denied environments. The same technologies can also be used for UAVs for precision targeting and geolocation without GPS. In the area of Intelligent and Autonomous Control systems, Scientific Systems is developing technologies for Helicopter Formation Flying, Damage-Adaptive Control, Integrated Fault-tolerant Reconfigurable Aero-Propulsion Control, Multiple Vehicle Collaborative Mission Planning and Autonomous Control (COMPACT) and Distributed State Estimation under resource and multi-tasking constraints using new “Anytime Kalman Filtering” algorithms.
