Abstract	The biggest news from Aurora is the ongoing acquisition by Boeing; this is due to be finalized very soon. Aurora will become an independent subsidiary under Boeing’s research and technology organization, Boeing Engineering, Test & Technology, which serves both the commercial and the defense sectors. Other major activities include the D8 next-generation civil transportation, which just received additional funding for risk reduction activities from NASA, along with a contract for trades studies of NASA’s own annular boundary layer ingestion concept, STARC-ABL. Aurora is also active in the Urban Air Transport arena, developing a separate lift-cruise concept which relies heavily on autonomy to achieve safety and good user experience. Finally, Aurora just recently began testing its ultimate configuration for the ONR AACUS program – an unmanned UH-1 outfitted with Aurora’s Tactical Aerial Logistics System (TALOS) performing full resupply missions requested by a field operator with a tablet.
