AbstractThe Intelligent Control and Autonomy Branch (ICAB) at NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) in Cleveland, Ohio, develops dynamic modeling, system health management and control technologies in support of NASA Mission programs. Our primary focus is on developing technologies for air-breathing propulsion systems in support of the goals of the Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate programs. However, we do have a significant effort in “non-aero” programs. The focus of this presentation is the work ICAB is doing in support of the programs in the NASA Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate (HEOMD) and Science Directorate (SD). ICAB is supporting the Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) function under the Space Launch System (SLS) program, the iROC (Integrated Radio and Optical Communications) project under the SCAN (Space Communications and Navigation) program, and the GHAPS (Gondola for High Altitude Planetary Science) project under the Planetary Science programs.
